Safe & Sound Solutions was established in 2015 by Lee McGurty, a Chartered Member of IOSH, after a successful career as a Health and Safety Inspector for 12 years, which was followed by 4 years working for a Jersey-based consultancy as a Health and Safety Consultant for a Jersey-based consultancy.
Since starting her business, Lee has provided consultancy services which have ranged from carrying out simple DSE assessments to writing papers to be presented to a company’s Board and everything in between.
Training forms a large part of the business and is something which Lee is passionate about. A number of courses are available which are delivered in an enthusiastic style intended to engage and inspire those attending.
Lee has also assisted with personal injury claims arising from accidents at work which have required the preparation of a report for the Court and other associated services.
Safe & Sound Solutions aims to provide sensible and appropriate advice tailored to your business to address the real risks, so that your employees stay safe, healthy and productive.
Services are provided on an ad-hoc basis with no requirement to tie into an annual rolling contract, which can be a costly option.
During more than 20 years as a health and safety professional, Lee has worked with a whole range of industries in both the private and public sectors. Her time spent as a Health and Safety Inspector gave her a good understanding of Health and Safety legislation and how compliance can best be achieved.
Her knowledge and experience of teaching significantly increased when she was employed as a Health and Safety Consultant and gained the City & Guild Level 3 Award in Education and Training. She has subsequently prepared and delivered several training courses to both the public and private sectors.
